Life back East

I am loving how different things are back here. There are SO many places to visit...I can't seem to fit it all in. One of our first ventures was to Gettysburg. It was BEAUTIFUL! Yes, sad too...but really pretty. The drive there was filled with rolling green hills, big red barns, and cows everywhere. I do realize we have cows in Utah but,...this seemed a bit more picturesque. :)

It IS beautiful. What an awesome experiance. My mom used to take us places like this for "homeschool' and we got to see THE places that these historical events took place, how amazing. I love the pics... love the one of you all with Abe!

Wow! That is awesome. I should really be more adventurous out here. I am sure there are things that are worth seeing:) But you know me. I like my home. Even if it is an apartment. But, you have inspired me... I just might venture out in the next three weeks and see some sights!

Keep posting!! We miss you!

I remember we went to Getty's on a family vaca. We bought a CD that you listened to while you drive around the area. A little tour guide you know. Did you do that too, or did Mr. Drake fill that job? :) I love that first picture. Exactly what I love about back east. Makes me want a to own a red barn and some cows. You say you have so many places to visit... post about em! We all want to see! Glad you are having fun... I still want to visit!

Those pictures were great. I am SO jealous. I wanted to go to Gettysburg when I was back there, but we didn't make it. Keep the pictures rolling in! I love to see what you are up to.
